Project Pillar is a Shark Tank style Startup–Investor Connect Initiative hosted by E-Cell At Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College, designed to provide early-stage startups with direct access to investors, mentorship, and potential funding opportunities. The event will be conducted offline on 19th December 2025, with a shortlisting round on 15th December 2025.
Eligibility
- Open to early-stage startups — student-led or independent.
- Both college-based and external startups are allowed.
- Individual founders as well as team-based startups are eligible.
- Inter-college and inter-specialization teams are welcome.
Format & Process
Round 1: Shortlisting Round (15th December 2025)
- Startups must submit their pitch deck at the time of registration (prior submission is mandatory).
- Participants will pitch offline in front of SAKEC Incubation Heads.
- Evaluation will consider:
- Innovation
- Feasibility
- Scalability
- Problem–solution fit
- Selected startups will qualify for the final pitching round.
Round 2: Investor Pitching Round (19th December 2025)
- Shortlisted startups will pitch offline before a panel of investors and industry mentors.
- Each startup will receive:
- 5–7 minutes for pitching
- 3–5 minutes of investor Q&A
- Possible outcomes from investors include:
- Funding opportunities
- Mentorship
- Collaborations or incubation support
Duration
- Shortlisting Round: 1-day offline pitching before SAKEC Incubation Heads.
- Main Event: Begins at 10:00 AM, includes pitching, Q&A, and networking.
Rules
- Pitch deck submission during registration is compulsory for consideration.
- Startups must strictly follow the allotted pitch time.
- Decisions by the investor panel and organising committee are final.
