PROJECT FOREIGNER : Tribute to ForeignerBecause of their love for and desire to celebrate the great British-American rock band, five talented musicians joined forces in 2016 to form Project Foreigner – A Tribute to Foreigner. Playing top hits, their recent presence in the Northern Colorado live music scene has already excited and delighted audiences and venues alike! Lead vocalist Dave Stremel is “following my heart” and stepping out from behind the guitar with his impressive vocal range. He leads this tribute act with fire and finesse by embracing the role of Lou Gramm. Dave also plays guitar for High Wire , an original band , as well as being vocalist for VOA- Tribute To Sammy Hagar/Van Halen . Guitarist Fernando Escobar meticulously and artfully plays the well-renowned guitar riffs of Mick Jones. An in-demand musician, Fernando has played in several music projects over the years, which currently includes regionally known Rush Archives, a tribute to Rush. The band is rounded out by the expertise of keyboardist Jane Frederick of RetroSonics 80’s pop & award winning Hey, Lady!, a B-52s tribute; bassist Sherri Pflieger-Elliott of modern/alternative rock Audible Clique; and, drummer Tim Elliott , founder of Drumming Up Hope , and member of numerous Denver area tribute bands , Smokin’ , KISSm , Paradise Theatre , El Loco Fandango and Sonic Temple Denver
EL LOCO FANDANGO : Tribute to ZZ Top
El Loco Fandango was formed in January 2021 by three vets of the Colorado music scene . Don DiMasi , aka as The Reverend Donny D , guitar and lead vocals , late of Vivid Black . Mike Learn , aka Crusty Hill , guitar builder , world class artist on bass and vocals , late of The Grind and Lords of Distortion . Tim Elliott on drums and vocals , Tim plays in multiple tribute bands ( Boston , KISS , Styx , Foreigner ) . Together they have developed one of the most authentic tribute acts in the region .
