We’ve had a wonderfully popular music-centered open mic since opening B-Side, and we’re so excited to announce that we are starting to branch out into other open mics! Coming up on THURSDAY, November 13th @ 6PM, we are hosting our very first comedy open mic at B-Side Indie Music Cafe.
Sign ups start at 5PM the day of the event only. Slots are 5 minutes each, and there are 12 available. Stage time is a privilege, not a right. This is an ALL AGES and SOBER event. Keep it clean, be aware of your audience! This is an event for ALL AGES to both attend and perform at.
This is a FREE event. After the open mic section, we have a special guest comedian closing out the show!
Special Guest Comedian — DAVID HARRIS!
David Harris is an Emmy Award-winning comedian and actor who has been entertaining audiences for over 30 years. He’s performed at top clubs, theaters, colleges, and corporate events across the U.S. and Canada, and has worked with acclaimed comedians like Cathy Ladman, Louie Anderson, Beth Stelling, Amir K, and more. David’s 2021 special on Dry Bar Comedy has racked up over 300,000 views, and he’s performed at several comedy festivals nationwide including 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival, the North Carolina Comedy Festival, and the Colorado Springs Comedy Festival. David is loved by audiences far and wide for his self-deprecating, painfully relatable takes on family, relationships, and the inescapable anxieties that come with living in today’s world.
