About this Event
This jazz-age night will feature a "speakeasy" atmosphere and commemorate the ratification — and repeal — of the 18th Amendment, which banned the manufacture and sale of alcohol in the U.S.
🥃 Welcome drinks: 6:30 p.m.
🍽️ Dinner: 7:00 p.m.
This three-course meal is $128 per person and includes cocktail pairings. (The ticket price includes tax, gratuity, and fees.)
The event connects directly to the Clinton Center’s upcoming temporary exhibit, “Making Amends,” which explores the history of all 27 changes that have been made to the Constitution throughout its 238-year history. It will examine the issues that led to these amendments, the politics surrounding their ratification, and the many struggles that brought us toward a “more perfect union.”
