About this Event
How about a gathering for church-based youth workers that is explicitly, unapologetically progressive? A place of radical inclusion and hospitality? A few days where you can sing, dance, collaborate, dream, and meet others who share your values?
If this sounds good to you, then you should join us at the Progressive Youth Ministry Conference! We'll have speakers who challenge and inspire, we will share ideas for ministry and for maintaining a healthy life. We'll tackle some difficult issues, but we'll do it in a safe space. And we bet that you'll meet new friends!
When the first Progressive Youth Ministry conference took place in Chicago in 2014, over 250 youth workers attended, and everyone agreed that something important was afoot. Subsequent conferences in Chicago, Dallas, and North Carolina brought together scores of youth workers, amazing speakers, inspiring music, and much-needed camaraderie.
Today, the PYM movement continues to grow, and in 2023, we are putting the pandemic behind us and again meeting in person.
The goal of PYM is to gather and resource progressive youth workers, and to uphold the values of radical equality, reconciliation, and grace. We hope you’ll join us in Atlanta!
