This 3 day, 2 night multi day paddle camp trip is for those itching for the next wild adventure! You'll enjoy a rare opportunity to unplug from the everyday whilst forming friendships with like minded peeps who love to paddle. Our multi day adventure includes guided tours, technical water skills tips and waterways knowledge sharing to help you learn and grow as a paddler.We've got three days of stunning paddling to enjoy along the River Wye. Taking in both the well loved routes and the lesser known. We'll travel through Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and into Monmouthshire, areas that are steeped in mythical folklore and ancient history and teaming with wildlife such as Peregrine Falcon, Kingfisher, Salmon and wild horses! We'll carry our paddle, camping and food gear with us, stopping along the way for picnics, swimming and camping at our designated campsites. With scheduled morning / evening campsite Yoga sessions, riverside pub visits and campfire story telling; there's plenty of time to decompress and unwind.
Day 1: Guided Tour & Technical Water Skills Tips. Hereford to Hoarwithy. 25km. Taxi transfer from the end to start point included. BYO Paddle Picnic. Post Paddle Yoga stretch before dinner and a pint at the local riverside pub. (Dinner not included in the price)
Day 2: Guided Tour & Technical Water Skills Tips. Hoarwithy to Goodrich. 30km. We'll supply your expedition camp breakfast and lunch. Riverside BBQ at the dark skies campsite, before toasting marshmallows and enjoying boozey hot choccies at the fire pit.
Day 3: Guided Tour. Goodrich to Redbrook. 22 miles. Morning Yoga stretch followed by porridge, fresh berries, tea/coffee. Expedition lunch provided.
NOTE: Hire our Lux Camp Bundle. Includes Big Agnes tent with added storage vestibule, deluxe sleeping bag, inter-fitted camp mat for extra comfort. Combined weight aprox 4kg. Palm 70L weekender dry bag and 30L day pack.
£325.00. Includes water-sports kit hire, (board, paddle, BA, QR belt) launch/landing fees 2 night camping, Saturday evening BBQ, S'mores and hot toddies, 3 expedition meals (Saturday and Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon), taxi transfer and launch/landing fees. Does not include car parking fees.
Suitable for those who’ve joined our Beginners Paddle & Camp, one of our longer Escape Days or who have similar experience /levels of fitness. Skills wise this is more technical than the beginners trip.
