About this Event
Good day, fellow daring adventurers and lovers of the unusual!
This December, forget the tinsel, mistletoe, and merry jingles—there’ll be none of that festive frippery at this event, oh no.
Prepare yourselves for a wild ride through time, with gears turning and yes, dinosaurs!
Expect prehistoric roars mixed with toe-tapping tunes, all wrapped up in an evening of steampunk splendor by the light of ship's lanterns. Gather your finest gear and your pet Protoceratops for an unforgettable night of musical mischief and mechanical marvels, where adventure reigns.
This evening will be fundraising for our community pantry so, in addition to having a jolly splendid time, you will be helping a very worthy cause indeed.
Professor Elemental is a time travelling chap hop artist from the 1880's, with more adventures than a reasonable person would believe to be true who will brew you a nice Hip Hop number, stir in some comedy and then serve it with scones. He has released numerous albums and has literally dozens of fans, most of whom have not yet been killed by his various experiments.

His performances are a lively combination of comedy & music with some friendly audience banter and plenty of improvisation. The Prof first got himself noticed with the track ‘Cup Of Brown Joy’ which notched up over a million YouTube hits and, notoriously, he had a scuffle with Mr B, resulting in the video ‘Fighting Trousers’. Since then, his inventions and adventures have taken the Steampunk-flavoured mad Professor around the world to events like The San Diego Comic Con, The Glastonbury Festival, The Canadian Steam Expo and Dragon Con, which have gone like clockwork.

Traveling extensively and working as a music journalist has allowed Martin to discover extraordinary sounds from around the globe, which he expertly blends into his sets. His performances often reflect his deep knowledge of music history and his appreciation for diverse genres, making each show a unique experience filled with unexpected delights.
When he's not behind the decks, Martin is passionate about restoring vintage cars—particularly P4 Rovers—and enjoys exploring history, Morris dancing, and venturing to remote corners of Africa. His love for tea rooms and local breweries also speaks to his appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
While Still Moving DJs are often known for their vibrant shows featuring both Martin and Tom, Martin’s solo performances are equally captivating, infused with his signature style, diverse tastes, and a deep connection to the music.
