About this Event
This is a social networking event aimed at creating meaningful conversation as opposed to surface-level small talk. The speed friending prompts will go deep, so be prepared to get a little vulnerable.
Life is better with great people in it, so push yourself out of your comfort zone and come make some new friends!
STRUCTURE
6:45pm: arrive, get a drink, chat. Please note that happy hour finishes 6:30 pm, so if you like a deal, arriving early is worthwhile.
7:00 - 8:15 pm: 4 x rounds of group speed friending (meeting 16-20 people)
8:15pm - 8:45 pm: chats with the people you connected with most. Speed friending is cool but this is where real friendships are built!
Note: Please ensure you buy a drink (alcoholic or not!) to show support and gratitude to the venue for providing us the space to get together.
INVESTMENT
$4 + eventbrite fees
Find Your Tribe is an association and not for profit, but for structured events we do ask for a $4 donation towards paying for the Meetup subscription ($500 per year). Any leftovers goes into organising food / venues for our big events!
