Professional Overview of Financial Aid Applications in Carbondale, IL

Are you ready for the 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA ®)? This free training, provided by ISAC’s Professional Development team, will cover important updates to the FAFSA form, including changes to StudentAid.gov accounts. Attendees will also learn about key state initiatives and recent federal changes that will impact students and families. ISAC is pleased to partner with Southern Illinois University for this event on Tuesday, October 7th, from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Registration and Parking

Check-in will begin at 8:00 AM. We encourage you to register as soon as possible as space is limited. Registration will close on October 2, 2025, or when full capacity is reached. The training will take place in Room 170 of the Student Service Building. There are large blocks of visitor parking spots in lots 12 & 13 across from the Student Center and on the north side of the Student Services Building. Otherwise you can pay for parking in lot 13 in any unmarked spot for $1 per hour.
