About this Event
Join us for a rich day of learning, connection and reflection, specially designed for teachers, with workshops and tours for educators to become more familiar with the Museum and Archives of North Vancouver's offerings.
Teachers will take part in a Coast Salish Wool Weaving Workshop with one of MONOVA's Indigenous Cultural Programmers, tour the galleries, try out hands-on activities from our programs, and learn how to bring archival photographs into their classrooms with our education kits. Special guest presenter, Giselle Clarke-Trenaman from Presentation House Theatre will deliver a virtual session of Black History Matters, a program that aims to create a truthful awareness of Black Canadians, including those from North Vancouver.
