Primarily set in the early โ60s in the middle of the New York folk music scene, the film traces the then unknown 19-year-old from obscurity, through his meteoric rise as the preeminent folk singer of the day, and culminating in his rock and roll โcoming outโ at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival. Featuring the ever versatile Chalamet actually playing guitar and singing Dylanโs iconic tunes. Also with Elle Fanning and Edward Norton.

Now, almost half a century later, he revisits Dylanโs work with the skills of an eminent American historian as well as the passion of a fan.
