About this Event

Peter Borup (Asian Studies '23 and former CEO of Norvic Shipping International) will serve as Moderator.

Elisabetta Gentile is a Senior Economist at the South Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). She performs policy-oriented research focusing on innovation, technology, and education. She co-authored the theme chapter on “How technology affects Jobs” for the Asian Development Outlook (ADO) 2018 and was editor and author of the Global Value Chain Development Report 2021. Her work on skill mobility in the ASEAN Economic Community has widened her research portfolio to include skilled labor migration. Elisabetta was previously a lecturer in the Department of Economics at the National University of Singapore.
