When you think of food drives, you probably think of items like canned goods, pasta, cereal, and peanut butter & jelly. But the The Tree House of Lititz at Lititz Church of the Brethren is putting a *fresh* twist on your typical food drive by collecting fresh fruits and vegetables for the Warwick Community Hub during an initiative we're calling "PRODUCE AT THE PLAYGROUND." 🍅🥒🥕On Sundays August 17 and September 7 & 21 from 10 AM - 1 PM, volunteers will be at the playground, ready to receive your donations of fresh fruits and vegetables. If you like to shop at farmer's markets, pick up something extra to share! And if you're a home gardener, what better way to put your surplus to good use?! All donations will be given to the Warwick HUB to be distributed to neighbors facing food insecurity. Thanks in advance for contributing, and tell your friends!
