All clergy invited to the City of Seguin's official proclamation of Pastor Appreciation Day.Pastor Appreciation Day has its roots in Clergy Appreciation Month, which was established in 1992 by the Focus on the Family ministry. The idea was inspired by Paul's encouragement in 1 Thessalonians to give recognition to church leaders. Since its inception, many churches and Christian organizations across the country have adopted the second Sunday of October as the informal date to honor pastors. We seek to make the date formal!
