When we started out all we wanted to do was go inside the agencies we admired the most but unless you were hired it was almost impossible to get access. We were fascinated by their work, culture and people but their methods were guarded and their approach was top secret.

We are committed to shattering those barriers by sharing with you the processes used by freelancers, founders and teams. We care about sharing the story of people at all stages of their because we believe in elevating all voices, irrelevant of age, ability and background.

SPEAKERS
Each of our events feature two speakers including freelancers, founders and teams. We ask them to share their processes including the challenges they face, the methods they employ and the people they work with.

KISS

Poonam and Matt, the dynamic duo behind KISS, superpartners dedicated to helping entrepreneurs fall in love with their businesses. As brand enthusiasts, their mission is to spark instant attraction and lasting love between customers and brands, as well as between clients and agencies.

KISS Studio stands out for its diverse portfolio, working with a wide range of brands from placemaking to hospitality. This variety fuels their creativity and brings fresh, innovative perspectives to every project. At just 25, Poonam and Matt founded KISS out of a desire to escape the long hours, endless commutes, and corporate politics of London. They relocated to Leeds in 2017 to bring their vision to life, and have since grown steadily, recently welcoming a new Design Director to their team.

Their studio's success is evident in their accolades, including a Gold win for their work with Dense Hair Experts at the Transform Awards, and collaborations with trendy gaming venue Lane7 and their latest client Zambrero. A perfect partnership, Poonam and Matt bring a fresh approach to leadership, entwining their personal cultural experiences and the uniqueness of being in a relationship and running a studio.

Pat is creative director of Leeds’ branding studio – Foundry. Together with co-creative director Nat Holmes, Foundry aim to create brands that people truly engage with, can't forget, and ultimately – fall in love with. Foundry partner with fearless start-ups to build brand worlds full of personality and punch, from the ground up.

David Brown is a passionate promoter and venue owner of 'The Attic' at Seagulls. With a background as a classical singer and a deep love for the arts, David is dedicated to fostering and nurturing up-and-coming acts. We are excited to be using The Attic for the first edition of Process Events in Leeds and cannot wait to welcome you to the venue.
