About this Event
Oregon Consumer Justice invites you to join us on Friday, December 5, for a day of community and shared learning focused on our state's hard-won data privacy protections and how we can continue to strengthen them.
We all deserve the ability to keep our personal information safe and secure. However, in this digital age where companies track, sell, and use our information, that security is harder to come by.
During this free educational event, we'll hear from Oregon's privacy champions who are creating and enforcing our legal protections and learn about new developments to existing wins like the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (OCPA). Following a presentation and panel discussion, enjoy refreshments and continued conversation at our Community Hour.
This event is part of our FAIR Learning Forum event series. , including consumer law basics, protections related to debt collection, and the role of trauma-informed law in consumer justice.
Continuing legal education (CLE) credits pending.
