Join Mindfull Aus for a powerful evening focused on supporting ourselves as parents, caregivers and educators, because the way we show up for children begins within us.
This session explores nervous system awareness, trauma, healing and emotional imprints and how strengthening our own wellbeing helps us parent and care with more patience, connection and confidence.

About the Speaker
Lael Stone is an educator, TEDx speaker, author, counsellor and mother who has worked with families for over 23 years.
Her work spans birth education, postnatal trauma counselling and parenting education, supporting families from newborns through to the teenage years. Lael also spent more than five years working in secondary schools with young people around sexuality, wellbeing and relationships, with a strong focus on connection and emotional awareness.
Lael is the creator of Woodline Primary School, an innovative school grounded in emotional wellbeing and connection. She also consults with organisations across education and corporate settings, advising on trauma informed practices, emotional literacy and systemic wellbeing.
Her work has expanded into the corporate space, where she addresses the impacts of imprints, trauma and systems on adult wellbeing. She is the host of the podcast Humans, Being, exploring what makes us human and why compassion matters.
Lael is the author of the bestselling book Raising Resilient and Compassionate Children, with her second book Own Your Story released in July 2025, focusing on healing our pasts so we can thrive into the future.
