About this Event

“Yves Saint Laurent in museums” is an exhibition to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first YSL fashion show. This visit allows you to discover a temporary exhibition.


The Yves Saint Laurent museum presents the couturier’s way of doing and seeing as well as the role of the various workshops working around YSL. The visit starts at 10am when the museum is still closed to other visitors.


300 hundred drawings by the fashion creator, molds for hats and shoes, patterns and muslins, but also buttons, embroideries and many accessories are showcased in order to understand the complex creating process.


Finally, a visit of the studio, where Yves Saint Laurent was working in the upper floor of the Napoleon the 3rd private mansion is showing his library, personal objects and give a vibrant feeling of the two times a year season collection being prepared in that room.
