About this Event

What's one of New York State's most innovative farms doing in the not-so-rural borough of Brooklyn? Whether you're a foodie, techie, environmentalist, or just someone looking for a totally new and unique experience, now's your chance to explore the future of urban farming and see how science and technology are helping one indoor farm grow a wide variety of culinary plants.

Join New York Adventure Club for a private look inside vertical farming company Farm. One, a hydroponic farm in Brooklyn that grows a huge selection of rare herbs, edible flowers, and microgreens for New York's top restaurants.

Led by a Farm. One staff member, our unique experience at this state-of-the-art production facility will include:

  • An overview of hydroponics and how growing plants without soil is possible thanks to technologies like vertically stacked containers, LED lights, and year-round climate control
  • A private walkthrough of the facility to see how rare culinary plants grow from seed to harvest
  • An opportunity to taste over 10 rare herbs, microgreens, and edible flowers from around the world — from the best arugula you've ever had to a plant that tastes like cotton candy
  • A closer look at Farm. One's cutting-edge technology that allows them to produce, manage, and sell their indoor-grown produce

See you there!
