This intensive course teaches students basic investigatory skills and discovery techniques. Topics include state/federal investigator laws, undercover investigation, surveillance techniques, interview/ statement methods, court record checks, subpoena procedures, computer database research, video/still photography techniques, locating witnesses and missing persons, and testifying techniques. This course also prepares students to take the State Private Investigator Exam that is required to apply for a private investigator license in Louisiana.
