About this Event
Join Clemson Extension Agents Rob Last and Nicole Correa on Monday, February 3, 2025, in meeting room 113 at the Lexington County Clemson Extension office for a Private Applicator Training, Private Pesticide Applicator exam, or recertification training.
Take this opportunity to learn how to apply pesticides safely and legally, test to be licensed to be a private applicator in South Carolina, or gain 3 CEUs if you are already a South Carolina licensed pesticide applicator.
Private applicator licenses are intended for agricultural producers who must purchase, use, or supervise the use of restricted-use pesticides in their operations. This training is not appropriate for homeowners or those seeking a commercial or noncommercial applicator's license.
Licensing exam will be administered immediately following the training (approximately 12:00 pm).
Participants must be present for the entire training to be eligible to take the licensing exam or sign for recertification credits.
Optional: Consider purchasing the "Applying Pesticides Correctly: A Guide for Private and Commercial Applicators" manual as study material for the exam.
