4-hour class that will review the required information for the Private Applicator's Exam to obtain Restricted Use Pesticide license in FL.About this Event
This 4-hour class will review relevant information to help participants learn the Private Applicator's Exam material to obtain a Restricted Use Pesticide license in the State of Florida. The instructor will go through each chapter of the book "Private Applicator Agricultural Pest Control". This class is meant to be a review; prior basic knowledge of the material is expected.
Registering for this class DOES NOT automatically register you to take the exam. If you want to take the exam after the class, you must register at least the day prior at: https://pesticideexam.ifas.ufl.edu/
- Make sure to register for the exam online as soon as possible. Spaces are very limited!
- The study material can be purchased at the UF/IFAS Bookstore: http://ifasbooks.ifas.ufl.edu/p-118-private-applicator-agricultural-pest-control.aspx
- Pay special attention to the time your exam is scheduled for. (Either 9AM or 1PM).
- If you'd like to take the exam on a different day, please contact Alissa Hevesh at [email protected] or (863) 402-7147.
- You can also take the test at home throught Everblue.
- Starting on October 1, UF/IFAS Extension offices (across the state) will no longer be providing pesticide testing, so now is a good time to take advantage of this opportunity if you have been putting it off.
- 4 CEU's for Private Applicator have been approved.
