About this Event
We are teaming up with PICCASO for the April LNETM, to discuss how the changing identity and authentication landscape will impact how individuals and organisations should think about privacy in a world of AI and GenAI based vulnerabilities.
There has always been a complicated interplay between Privacy and Security, particularly with the critical role of ‘identification and authentication’. In this modern digital world how do we ensure an individual’s privacy remains intact and that authentication is not undone by malicious deep fakes and AI generated algorithms.
How does the role of ‘identification’ evolve and keep up with the future demands of AI & Bots as they automate our digital landscape. What can organisations do now to prepare for highly intelligent AI based attacks?
The discussion will also consider how organisations should think about the roles and interplay between privacy, security and identity. How will clients and consumers justify the economics associated with ever increasing volumes (and cost) of personally identifiable information (PII) with ever more sophisticated ways of mining and exploiting this data.
We have brought together a combination of leading privacy and identity experts for our discussion, including:
- Helena Wootton (Privacy Director Legal EMEA at London Stock Exchange Group)
- Steve Wright (CEO & Founder of Privacy Culture & PICCASO, ex CPO for Unilever, John Lewis and Bank of England)
- Indre Dapkeviciute (Senior Privacy Advisor at London Stock Exchange Group) - moderator
- Further speakers to be announced subsequently
Sincere thanks to London Stock Exchange Group for hosting the LNETM and to all our annual sponsors for 2024
