About this Event
To commemorate Transgender Day of Remembrance (held annually on November 20th), join Prism for a special workshop led by local London activist, Stevie Bees, founder of Stevie’s Safe Spaces. Stevie is dedicated to creating inclusive and safe environments for everybody, and their work has made a significant impact both locally and across the world.
Join us for an engaging Trans 101 workshop where Stevie will provide an introduction to transgender identities, covering essential terms, types of transitions, and how to be a better ally. This conversational session will also include an open Q&A period, allowing participants to ask respectful questions in a safe and supportive space.
Join us for an important and empowering conversation, and leave with the tools to help foster safer, more inclusive spaces for all.
Lunch options will be provided - please inform us if you have dietary restrictions.
Parking chits for the City Hall parking garage will be available - please let us know ahead of time so we have one for you.
