PRISM Fall Invasive Plant Workshop in Charlottesville (In-Person)

Join PRISM’s knowledgeable team in a small group setting to learn invasive plant identification, herbicide safety, basic management strategies, tool selection, and a how-to for manual and chemical control techniques.

This fall workshop will take place on Friday, Oct 10th from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at McIntire Park in Charlottesville and will include an invasive plant identification walk and in-person instruction. Space is limited to 25 participants.

Registration fee is $25.

Please make note of the following:

-Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required to participate. No exceptions.

-(Optional) If you have them, feel free to bring work gloves, safety glasses, and the following tools: hand pruners, hatchet, loppers. We will also have these on hand.

This event will be held rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable. Blue Ridge PRISM reserves the right to cancel the event in the case of severe weather or insufficient ticket sales (refunds will be issued in these instances). If you find that you cannot attend, please be kind enough to let us know at least 48 hours in advance.
