Participants will learn how to make a series of identical greeting cards using linoleum block printmaking. Linoleum printmaking is similar to wood block printmaking. The card will be 8.5" X 5.5" and can be horizontal or vertical. Bring a sketch that size to work from or some visual reference that you would like to use for an image. Your image will be carved into the surface of the printing plate, rolled with ink and printed onto paper. Bring a lunch or snack. All supplies provided for the class.
