No experience necessary to participate in this workshop. Rather than wood, which is more difficult and takes longer to carve, students will be working with rubber blocks to get an effect similar to a Japanese woodblock print. Several optional designs will be suggested or you can bring your own ideas for a 4โ x 6โ block. All materials will be provided by FAM.
Also included is an informational tour of the๐๐ญ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ต๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ญ๐ฆ๐ข๐ด๐ถ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ด exhibition and a description of the Japanese woodcut process.
