Alongside instructor Kat Chudy, students will explore printmaking by studying the techniques of papermaking, kitchen lithography, monotyping, and intaglio. We will use a variety of traditional, contemporary, and DIY approaches to create works of art using traditional fine arts materials as well as common household items. Students will explore intaglio using plexiglass, ink, and a variety of at home printing methods. This class will study a DIY approach to intaglio without the use of heavy machinery or hazardous chemicals.
This class is part of our Adult Learning Program.
Classes are $40 for members, $50 for nonmembers
