Middle and High School Students ages 15- 17 years old.
- 1-week class Monday - Thursday 9 am - 4 pm. 1/2 hour lunch not provided.
- Cost $300.00 per week
- Students must bring their own cell phones.

An introduction to digital photography. Students analyze photographs to determine their positive and negative characteristics. Students produce their own visually compelling images by employing the correct photographic techniques.
This course covers the basics of photography. You will become familiar with all basic camera functions. You will also learn how to see in a new way and how to think differently about pictures. This course emphasizes technical, visual, conceptual, and critical skills. There will be a major concentration on the acquisition of fundamental techniques.
Instructor Bio:
Gene Wheeler is a new, photo-based media artist and educator. His work incorporates mixed media, photographic imagery, video, and installation.
Gene received a BA from the Colorado Institute of Art and his MFA in Photography, Video, and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
Gene has a national exhibition record and has exhibited his Fine Art photography, installations, and video work for over twenty years.
His work examines the notions of collective memory. Gene has been teaching at the University level for the past seventeen years.
Gene made his home in New Your City for sixteen years where he worked as a fine artist and editorial photographer. Gene made his home in New York City for sixteen years, where he worked as a fine artist and editorial photographer. He currently makes his home in Lake Worth Beach.
