Join Principles First at the Phoenix Country Club for an engaging discussion on the challenges and opportunities facing our democracy today. Our program— Freedom in the Balance: Checking Power, Protecting Liberty — will bring together a mix of national, state, and community leaders for an evening of discussion about the challenges facing our democracy.
This event will feature former Congressman Joe Walsh, former Mariacopa County Recorder Stephen Richer, former Mesa, and former Arizona Mayor John Giles. More speakers to be announced.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from leading voices in law and policy, explore pressing issues, and engage with thoughtful commentary on how democratic principles shape our society.
Through engaging discussions and a Q&A session, attendees will gain insights into how to uphold democratic norms, safeguard accountability, and strengthen civic engagement. Additional speakers will be announced soon.
