About this Event
This workshop will focus on enduring principles and good practice for supporting English language learners at a range of stages on the English Language Learning Progressions in primary and intermediate school contexts. It will explore ways in which a structured literacy approach can be used effectively to enhance English language learning. There will be opportunities for teachers to share their experience and expertise.

- You will build your understanding of how additional language is acquired
- You will increase your knowledge of evidence-informed practical strategies and resources to support English language learners
- You will strengthen your ability to increase vocabulary, and support reading and writing
- You will deepen your understanding of how structured literacy can benefit English language learners
