About this Event
This a walking tour with a difference, led by a knowledgeable guide with a real interest in Diana. Discover Princess Diana's Kensington and Chelsea, the places where she lived, shopped and ate. Hear captivating details about her everyday routines, and get a flavour of what her life was really like, before and after she became a princess. You will see some of London’s most desirable and elegant streets, and also be given ideas about where to return to see more.
We will start at fashionable Sloane Square, and end at the stunning Kensington Palace in beautiful Kensington Gardens, where you can stay after the tour and have a traditional afternoon tea (not included). We will see the Sunken Garden and Diana statue (but not go inside the palace). Be prepared for typical English wet weather and wear comfortable shoes. Part of the tour is on public transport: a classic London double decker bus, so please bring a London transport travel card (available from tube stations), Oyster card or a contactless debit or credit card.
Payment is optional: the tour is free, but cash tips are gratefully received.
