You are invited to an exciting local event that celebrates the rich architectural heritage of Ontario. After a dedicated restoration journey, Paulette Sopoci collaborated with author and historian Sara Walker Howe to create Primrose Hill Manor, The History of the Janetville Mansion, a coffee table book that honors the history and craftsmanship of this remarkable Victorian home.The official book launch will take place on November 16 in Janetville in Kawartha Lakes, and we’re inviting the community to join us for an afternoon filled with inspiration and a shared love for heritage preservation. We’ll host a Q&A session, book signing, and a discussion on the importance of preserving historic homes. As a local landmark with ties to Ontario’s architectural past, Primrose Hill Manor is a meaningful part of our region’s story, and we hope to inspire others to appreciate and protect these historic spaces.
