Dear Teaching Colleagues,
Have you considered bringing your learners to the zoo? We are hosting our Early Years and Primary Colleagues in a free, led CLPL session on Saturday 7th October, 2023.
We would like to invite you to spend the morning exploring how the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland can support learning through our experiences here at the zoo, our online content and offer helpful and practical ideas and resources to support learning in the classroom also.
Our event, starting at 9:30-12:30 will cover:
- Our current learning offer
- A chance to experience one of our learning sessions
- Exploration of self guided and at school learning resources
- Examples of planning in line with current curricular priorities
- Free entry for registered attendee to Edinburgh Zoo for the day
In addition, we are offering discounted rates for family members to join you for the afternoon, after our session ends at 12:30.
Discounted rates for family members are:
- Adults £16.95
- Children £7.00 per child
- Students (with valid student card) £8.00
Please register your attendance as soon as possible, as places are limited, all bookings will close on 30th September 2023.
