Warmly welcome to this special edition of Primal Play in Aarhus, where we invite you into a shared exploration through movement, sound, breath and touch: with live music, warm chai and a space to simply be yourself.
𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰
We’ll begin the evening with a singing circle led by Oliver Eik, who will share heartfelt songs from various traditions. As we softly land in the space, we’ll enjoy a cup of homemade chai and open our voices for those who feel like singing along.
There’s something deeply primal about making sound together. It invites us into connection.
After that, there will be a few gentle, guided exercises to land in your body and connect with others in the room. The exercises invite you to move intuitively and listen to your body’s natural guidance.
𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆
The main part of the workshop is Primal Play: a non-verbal practice in rotating pairs, where you and another person meet on a mat to explore what naturally comes alive between you.
How does your body want to move? What feels authentic and enjoyable?
The practice invites authentic connection without goals, judgments or expectations. Everything is welcome, whether it’s cuddling, wrestling, playful moments or heartfelt tears.
Primal Play is a brave space that allows you to practice moving towards what you want and away from what you don’t. It’s an opportunity to explore your curiosity, honor your desires, and feel your boundaries through the language of the body.
Primal Play is a practice from the school Embodied Intimacy, inspired by Ritual Play.
🧡𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰
During Primal Play, Oliver Eik will play live music that responds to and guides the movement and mood in the room. He will weave in sounds with various instruments like guitar, native american flute, and more.
The music will support you in staying connected to your body and to what you feel. Sometimes it might invite movement and playfulness, other times stillness and presence. The live sound becomes part of the experience, helping everyone land a little deeper and feel more together in the space.

I am a certified psychotherapist and facilitator in the field of embodiment and intimacy, and one of the creators of ALIVE Tantra Festival in Copenhagen. I invite individuals, couples and groups to slow down and connect with what is real in the moment, felt in the body.
With years of experience in embodiment, nervous system regulation and authentic relating, I create spaces where intimacy can unfold naturally and safely. My approach is warm and playful, and I love to invite curiosity into the exploration of connection.
Oliver Eik
I’m an experienced musician and multi-instrumentalist who aims to be rooted in a deep sense of presence as I bring my music into sacred and communal spaces. I see music as a powerful gift for community, connection, and expressing our emotions.
The guitar has been with me since age 12 and I have since expanded my vocabulary into other instruments as well. My hope is that by sharing my music I will create heartfelt experiences for you.
