The tea ceremony has its origins in Chinese Buddhist monasteries, where it was used for medicinal purposes and as a stimulant to ward off drowsiness during meditation.During this workshop we want to start off with the simple act of sharing a cup of tea - together - in silence - in constant contact with our body and mind. This first part is meant to help us relax and sink even more into a deep place of surrender, awareness and flow.
The second part will guide us into a primal play session. We want to create a space where we allow ourselves to freely walk, spin, stand or roll around - as if it was a playground or garden full of possibilities (rather than boundaries).
The physical interaction can be different: from complete stillness to intense flow of movement; from no touch to full body contact; from crawling together on the floor to flying and spinning in lifts. None of it is mandatory or expected. All of it can be approached at your own pace or not approached at all.
