Jaime Maria Castellanos is an educator with over 15 years experience in Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties in both private and public schools. Jaime earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Exceptional Student Education from the University of Miami. As Jaime has taught in different settings, she realized her passion was educating students with disabilities. Their challenges motivated her to think outside the box and create an environment which would best serve their learning.

Through the years and after departing from the public school sector, Jaime found a spot in Early Childhood education within a Montessori setting which is her happy place. Educating 2.5 to 6 year old children has become her passion and fills her heart. Independent and creative learning has driven her to use her creativity and artistic abilities to assist throughout the community.

Juneteenth of 2021, Jaime met Pranati Kumar at her charming bookshop, Rohi’s Readery. After a year of very trying and exhausting times, Jaime found a space and a friend that inspired and allowed her to reach the community and for this she is eternally grateful. Social issues within our community and creating a safe space for ALL children has become a center part of what motivates Jaime within her instructional mind and influences.
