This is our Queer community-focused workshop in partnership with Skills Academy for Women. Come learn the basics about power tools with us!
About this Event

For Pride month we are celebrating with a basic power tools class. This class is designed to create intentional space for people who are underrepresented in the trades and DIY scene to come together to skill up. This class is specifically for LGBTQIA+

Our teachers will be Nya Jones-Abudu (she/they) and Quetzal Jordan (she/her) from the Skills Academy for Women and be covering drills and bits, chop saws, tape measure, hammers and general safety.

This is a free class but there is limited space to keep a comfortable teacher to student ratio, so please reserve your spot.

If youwould like to donate towards the class to help keep our work sustainable, feel free to select any amount you feel comfortable contributing the day of the class, but know that we want you here regardless of the financial contribution!
