Pride Poetry Workshop: Queer Awakenings, led by Dwayne Lawson-Brown

In honor of African American History Month, join us for “Queer Awakenings” in February. In this workshop, we will look at poems that document queer joy, and write celebratory poems exploring our own personal awakenings. Led by Dwayne Lawson-Brown, co-founder of Spit Dat, DC’s longest running open mic series, and author of the books One Color Kaleidoscope and twenty:21.
