This year, Rainbow Families QLD is excited to be hosting two fabulous events as part of MELT Festival, and whether you’ve got your sea legs ready for Pride on the Tide, or prefer your pride with a picnic blanket, this one’s for you!Pride on the Grass is our big River Pride Picnic, a relaxed, family-friendly afternoon at beautiful New Farm Park, right next to the Brisbane Powerhouse.
It’s the final stop of the River Pride Parade, and the perfect spot to kick back, connect, and soak in the post-parade energy!
What to expect:
🌈 River entertainment (yes, think jet skis, rowing boats, and floating fabulousness!)
🌈A huge space for rainbow families to relax and reconnect
🌈 Loads of kids entertainment, craft activities, and maybe even drag story time!
🌈 Bring your own picnic or grab something nearby
🌈 Come solo with your little ones, bring your partner, or your whole chosen fam, everyone is welcome!
Pack your snacks, rainbow flags, picnic rugs and crew, and come join us for a joyful day on the grass!
