Start date: June 1st
Final day to send answers: June 18th
The Pride Museum of Texas is delighted to announce its first annual digital Pride Scavenger Hunt. Generously sponsored by the Dallas Arts District and Ro2 Gallery. The hunt begins in Dallas’ historically LGBTQ+ Oak Lawn neighborhood. It culminates in the Dallas Arts District, where the winner will receive an original work of art commissioned from queer artists for the prize.
Starting with clues at Oak Lawn’s neighborhood businesses, participants will learn Dallas LGBTQ+ history to advance and make their way to the Dallas Arts District on their quest for the prize, an artwork by an acclaimed Dallas-based queer artist.
Clues will be posted on June 1st to the Museum’s Instagram and Facebook accounts. Participants must follow both accounts and submit their responses to the clues via direct message to the Museum’s social media channels or [email protected].
The final day to submit answers is June 18th.

After the final submissions for all clues in Oak Lawn are validated, participants will receive a codeword.
Participants must DM the accounts with photographs documenting their completion of the clues to receive codewords that will allow them to unlock the final clues and complete the hunt.
This exercise aligns with our mission to educate and preserve the history, visual culture, and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community. Through accessible programs, we aim to build a world that fosters equitable inclusion, celebrates diversity, and uplifts the entire queer community.
