Pride Eternal: Reclaiming Queer Legacy Through Empowered DeathcareRSVP at: tinyurl.com/PEternal
Join Pride Across the Bridge and People's Memorial Association for a powerful and affirming workshop on end-of-life planning—created by and for our queer community. In a time when our rights and legacies are under attack, planning ahead for your and your and your family's and friend's safety is an act of resistance! This free, in-person workshop will help you take control of your future, protect your loved ones, and ensure your final wishes reflect You.
We all deserve to be respected and remembered on our terms. Without legal protections, the government and estranged family members can override our wishes, erase our identities, and deny our chosen families access to us. By preparing in advance, we reclaim our autonomy—ensuring that our legacy, our love, and our community remain intact. :)
What We'll be Learning:
- The essentials of end-of-life planning (wills, power of attorney, advance directives)
- Queer-specific considerations for protecting your identity and chosen family
- Burial, cremation, and green options—what aligns with your values?
- How to make a plan that works for you!
