Pride Dye: tie-dyeing party

With Pride Month in full swing we are ready to fly (wear) our colors proudly! Join us on Wednesday, June 22nd to tie-dye a shirt with your pride colors. Feel free to come early to hang out with us and the dyeing stations will be ready for use at 8pm until we close at 10pm. We will have all the colors and supplies needed to turn your flag into a shirt as well as instruction on some different techniques to truly make your shirt as unique as you are!

Admission includes all the dyes and supplies you need, one shirt to dye, one 10oz pour from our 30 taps (or non-alcoholic option if under 21 or not drinking), and a donation to The Trevor Project. Be sure to purchase one ticket per shirt to dye... that means it can be multiple shirts per person! There is also a Bring Your Own Shirt option if you just want access to the dyeing station.

PLEASE NOTE: We want to provide premium shirts for this event so you can wear it for years to come. In order to that we need lead/shipping time. The Premium Shirt is a soft style shirt with your choice of unisex fit or tapered fit style but sales end on Sunday June 19 at 6pm. The One Shirt ticket may be a premium shirt, but due to last minute purchase will only be unisex fit.

LGBTQ+ young people are much likelier than their straight and cisgender peers to experience depression and thoughts of suicide — especially if they are bullied by their peers or rejected by their families for their identities. The Trevor Project, founded in 1998, addresses this health disparity with a number of crisis interventions and community resources.

Your admission and/or donation will help to fund crucial suicide prevention tools like the Trevor Lifeline, which is the only 24/7 suicide prevention helpline aimed at LGBTQ+ youth. The Trevor Project also offers expert-led suicide prevention and mental health crisis intervention training sessions for teachers, school nurses, counselors and others who can make a difference in a young person’s life.

Shezmu Cellars is an urban winery producing local honey-wines (mead) while also pouring 30 taps of craft beer and over 25 wines from North Georgia wine country. Shezmu Cellars believes mead doesn’t have to be a sweet dessert wine and focuses on producing sessionable dry meads served carbonated, nitrogenated, and still. Voted Best Winery in Georgia in 2020 and 2021 by the Georgia Business Journal, the Marietta winery is available as a venue for private events and hosts monthly art exhibits and comedy shows among the occasional themed party.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

What colors will be available?

--- We have 20 colors available that will definitely include the colors needed for your flag's colors!

What should I wear?

--- Definitely wear clothing you can stand to accidentally change the color of. While we will take as much precaution as we can, spills and splashes are bound to happen!

Is this event 21+?

--- Nope, bring all the dyers you can muster! Just note that we won't be serving alcohol to anyone not at least 21 years old.

Is parking available?

--- Yes, there is plenty of free parking in the lot in front of the winery... but if you're planning on drinking, please plan on taking a Lyft, Uber or designate a driver!

Do I need to print my tickets?

--- No! We will be able to check you in electronically.

Is only wine available?

--- Nope! We have lots of wine, including a huge Georgia wine selection as well as Sake and other wine-based beverages. We also have 30 taps of craft beer and some domestics in bottles/cans. We do not serve liquor.

Is there a kitchen on site?

--- Unfortunately no. We often have food vendors at our events, but if we do not advertise them then our offerings will include charcuterie, chocolate and other bar snack options. However, we allow customer to bring in whatever food they like so feel free to use your favorite delivery service or bring in take-out!
