We hear your voices. We understand the weather is not optimal for many people… us too. The heat has cost us performances by our friends at Sir Cupcakes Queer Circus, many vendors, volunteers and more.
Unfortunately this is an event that cannot be rescheduled, it is a cancel or “go” event. There’s six months of planning, permits, dozens of City of Beaverton departments and thousands of hours invested.
We have decided to scale down, hydrate and host the event. It will be in the shade, with misters, water stations, free water bottles and more. It stinks that it’s come to this, but we’re doing our best. We hope you come and see us, even for 15 minutes. If you're concerned about the heat and decide it's best for your health to not come, please know that you will be missed and we have nothing but love for you.
Our day will start early in the cool and will end before the heat of the afternoon.
10am-2pm
The celebration will be focused on Hall Street between the library crosswalk and the corner of 3rd Street. If you join us, feel free to park in the farmers markets parking lot.
