About The Speaker
Kelly specializes in business coaching for new business startups and helping existing businesses learn new strategies to grow. She has several years of helping businesses under her belt. She is the former Director of the Export Assistance Network at the Ohio State University South Centers, Certified Business Advisor from the University of Toledo, Certified Trade and Export Counselor by the Small Business Administration, and a NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional. Kelly is a former Human Resource Director for a large manufacturer department where she developed the department and implemented a workforce training and career pathway.
Kelly is a Shawnee State graduate and is glad to be back in the Portsmouth area where she has a feel for community and is ready to dig in and help it grow! She is no stranger to how local businesses operate because she too is a business owner in the Central Appalachia area, owning a mobile beverage bar for events and celebrations.
When Kelly isn’t knee deep in her career helping others or working to grow her own businesses, you can find her coaching basketball, taking a run, shopping local, and enjoying time with her family.
