The Prevention Practitioners Network invites you to join them for the symposium, Tertiary Prevention, in downtown Washington, DC.
About this Event

The Prevention Practitioners Network invites you to join them for a one-day in-person symposium from 8:00am-5:30pm on November 2, 2022, in downtown Washington, DC, followed by a two-day conference hosted by DHS on comprehensive local frameworks on November 3-4 in the same location.

This symposium will be an opportunity for interdisciplinary professionals dedicated to preventing targeted violence, terrorism, and their impacts, within the United States to connect and learn from one another.

We will be convening professionals in the tertiary prevention space to address topics such as diversion and alternative sentencing, state and local directory building, re-entry programs, parole, community-based programming, and many more. All educators, behavioral and mental health professionals, and prevention and intervention practitioners are welcome to join!

If you are a clinically licensed professional, a resource or professional in the broad field of violence prevention, or have a certificate relevant to this field, we invite you to apply to our national directory.

We are collecting participant biographies to show on the event website to showcase and connect our network. Please use this form to submit your bio so it can be uploaded on the symposium website.
