We’re thrilled to invite you to a special workshop hosted by Hero’s Path and Woodland Recovery Center. This event focuses on helping healthcare professionals identify the factors contributing to burnout and recognize both systemic and personal biases when working with LGBTQIA individuals in mental health and substance abuse contexts.
Our goal is to equip social workers, LPCs, mental health practitioners, counselors, and peer support specialists with essential knowledge and practical tools to effectively support those facing burnout. We’ll cover self-care strategies and techniques, as well as discuss the structural, systemic, and cultural stigma and barriers impacting the treatment of LGBTQIA individuals in these fields.
