Pretty Powerful - Automotive Basics For Women
Come join us at Hart Towing & Service LLC for a fun and informative event tailored specifically for women and girls ages 16 and up! Don't miss out on this empowering opportunity to gain confidence and independence when it comes to your vehicle. This is a classroom and hands-on event where you can get your hands dirty if you'd like (gloves are also provided!)Our knowledgable instructor Katie Colella will cover the following:
- Basic Automotive Systems
- Simple maintenance tasks including an oil change
- How a gas-powered vehicle engine works
- Women in Automotive History
- Emergency Roadside Essentials
Safety Requirements For Attendees:
- Must wear closed-toed shoes
- Must have your hair up for the hands-on training - hair ties available on request
- Safety Glasses will be provided at no charge
Refreshments will be provided!
