While the Côte de Nuits is famous for its amazing red wines, Burgundy lovers find as much beauty in the white wines as they do in the reds of the Côte de Beaune. Named after the lively town of Beaune, the "wine capital" of Burgundy, Côte de Beaune covers around 4,000 hectares and is home to villages associated with some of the best wines in the world. Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Volnay and Pommard are among them.
