In connection with the Garden’s yearly theme of Harmony in Nature comes an adult workshop series, Harmony Haven, which is all about providing space for those harmonious, relaxing moments of reflection and peace in our busy lives.Join us for a creative escape in our Harmony Haven: Pressed Leaf Art workshop. In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to showcase the natural beauty of leaves through pressing and artistic arrangement. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or trying something new, this workshop offers a fun and inspiring way to un-plug, and connect with nature.
What to Expect:
* Introduction to leaf pressing techniques and tools
* Creative guidance for arranging and mounting your artwork
* All materials provided, including leaves, paper, frames, and supplies
Fine motor work is a part of creating pressed leaf art. Tweezers for arranging the leaves will be provided.
Take home your own beautifully framed pressed leaf artwork—a perfect seasonal decoration or a heartfelt handmade gift.
Format: Hands-on Workshop
Audience Target: Adults and teens ages 10+ interested in a unique art experience.
